"A Nine-Year Journey of Struggles and Immense Love" – Vijay Deverakonda
Reflecting on their long-standing creative brotherhood, Vijay Deverakonda recalled that it has been a staggering nine years since they first collaborated on their pathbreaking supernatural thriller Taxiwaala. The actor noted how both of them have significantly evolved as artists and human beings over the last decade.
A Brotherhood Forged in Fire: "Though we have officially shot only two films together, we have shared countless behind-the-scenes struggles and received immense, unforgettable love from the audience for our very first combination. Rahul's unwavering passion for telling highly meaningful, visually stunning stories remains completely unchanged. I am incredibly proud to be a part of his vision for Ranabaali and am eagerly waiting for the world to witness it," Vijay shared in his heartfelt post.
An Elite International Technical Force Assembled
Ranabaali is shaping up to be one of the most unique periodic movies attempted in regional cinema, exploring real-world incidents that occurred during the volatile British rule in India. Adding massive global flavor to the project, Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo is set to clash against Vijay Deverakonda in a crucial role, alongside leading lady Rashmika Mandanna.
To bring the heavy 19th-century texture alive, the makers have hired a lethal technical brigade. Legendary musical duo Ajay–Atul are crafting the thunderous soundtrack, with elite visual framing captured by Niraav Shah. International stunt coordinators Yannick Ben and Andy Long Nguyen, alongside Robin Subbu, are designing highly realistic, raw, and high-octane battle sequences. Production designer Shivam Rao Nagasani and costume designer Archana Rao are handling the massive period setups, positioning Ranabaali to dominate the global box office this September.
