The winning streak of collaborators Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati looks set to continue with their latest venture, Hey Bhagavan. Described as a relentless comedy entertainer, the film features Suhas and Shivani Nagaram in the lead roles, supported by veteran actor Naresh and Sravanti.

At a high-energy promotional event in Hyderabad on Thursday, titled "Not a Trailer," Mega Supreme Hero Sai Durga Tej officially launched the film's latest footage and shared his enthusiasm for the project.

A "Not a Trailer" Strategy

The makers have adopted a bold marketing approach by releasing a teaser that intentionally hides the film’s core plot. Director Gopi Achara explained that because the story is so unique, they want the audience to experience the "main point" directly on the big screen.

  • Interactive Promotion: Vamsi Nandipati announced a unique contest where the top five people who correctly guess the plot based on the "Not a Trailer" will win ₹20,000 at the pre-release event.

  • Censor Approval: The film has already cleared the censorship process, with officials reportedly praising the humor and emotional depth.

Star Power and Support

Sai Durga Tej lauded Suhas for his rising stardom and work ethic. "The trailer is fantastic, and I'm certain this movie will keep the audience laughing. Suhas is proving his mettle across multiple languages now," Tej remarked.

Suhas, who has found great success with February releases like Ambajipeta Marriage Band, expressed his gratitude toward Tej:

"Tej Anna has been my pillar of support since before I even entered the industry. He even helped convince my parents about my career choice. I’m confident Hey Bhagavan will complete my February hat-trick of hits."

Wholesome Entertainment and Fresh Perspectives

The film isn't just about laughs; it centers on a poignant father-son emotional bond.

  • VK Naresh: The veteran actor highlighted that the film offers a "fresh" perspective on family dynamics, promising a climax that will leave a lasting impact.

  • Shivani Nagaram: Likened the film to "Ugadi Pachadi," noting it contains a perfect blend of comedy, romance, and sentiment.

  • Bunny Vaas: Shared that he was personally moved to laughter while watching the first copy, a sign he believes points toward a box-office success.
