Just two days ago we had mentioned how Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna ruffled a few feathers in his usual style by coming up with the 'Akkineni-Tokkaneni' statement during the success meet of 'Veera Simha Reddy'. Usually, people take it lightly knowing Balayya is a loose cannon.
However, it appears that Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya took it a tad bit personally. The usually sober hero took to his social media and wrote - "The creative contributions of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu, Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu, and SV Ranga Rao garu have been the pride and pillars of Telugu cinema. To disrespect them is to degrade ourselves".
Those who saw this are saying this is a rather mild attack on Balayya and being a young hero he should have reacted strongly. On the other hand, King Akkineni Nagarjuna has preferred to remain silent. Some say he is doing it to diffuse the importance while some feel this silence will be taken as leniency. Let us wait to see if the Akkineni clan will react in any other way in the coming days.
