Young Tiger NTR attended the grand pre-release event for 'Kantara: Chapter 1' in Hyderabad, lending immense star power to the highly anticipated prequel. Addressing the gathering, NTR delivered a heartfelt speech, sharing a personal connection to the film's subject matter.
"My grandmother used to tell me stories of Pinjuli and Gudi Ghat when I was a child. I always wondered if they were real, but I never imagined a director would make a film about the very stories I grew up listening to. That director is none other than my brother, Rishab Shetty," NTR said.
He expressed his astonishment at seeing those childhood myths brought to life on screen in Kantara. "If I, who knew the story, was so amazed, imagine the reaction of those who didn't. That was the result of Kantara."
NTR lauded Rishab Shetty's versatility, calling him a "rare director" capable of dominating all 24 crafts of filmmaking. He also thanked Rishab for accompanying him and his mother to the Udupi Krishna Temple, treating them like family. "I saw how hard he was working for Kantara: Chapter 1 there.
