Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is marking an incredible milestone—18 years in Indian cinema—with a striking mass poster release from his upcoming pan-India film Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, Peddi is shaping up as one of the most ambitious projects in Charan’s career, promising audiences a raw, emotionally gripping narrative set within a rugged rural world.

The newly-unveiled poster—shared by the makers to honor Charan’s journey since his blockbuster debut with Chirutha—captures him in a gritty, mass avatar: standing alone on a railway track, beedi in hand, a bag slung over his shoulder, and an intense, unpolished look that radiates grounded strength. According to the team, Charan will appear in multiple avatars, each designed to mirror the dramatic emotional beats of the story. This transformation, fueled by immersive prep and dedication, reflects the actor’s commitment to raising the bar for every role.

Peddi is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas’ Venkata Satish Kilaru and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, with IVY Entertainment co-presenting and co-producing the project. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside supporting performances from Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Technical excellence is ensured with R Rathnavelu as cinematographer and National Award-winner Navin Nooli editing.

Adding to the film’s momentum is the legendary AR Rahman, composing what’s promised to be an unforgettable musical score. The first single is expected to launch soon, further upping anticipation. Peddi is currently in production, with shoot and edit happening simultaneously and the project reported to be halfway through completion.

Slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday, Peddi is already among the most-awaited films of 2026—a true celebration of mass cinema and Charan’s enduring legacy.
