Kona Film Corporation has unveiled their latest project, Band Melam, starring Harsh Roshan and Sridevi Apalla—the much-loved pair from Court—now returning with an engaging new love story. Written by blockbuster talent Kona Venkat, the film features Kavya and Shrvaya as producers, with Sivaraju Pranav as co-producer, and is presented by Mango Mass Media.
Helmed by director Satish Javvaji, Band Melam promises an emotional narrative centered on music, love, and heartfelt connection. The launch event featured the film’s soulful title glimpse, aptly named First Beat, set to a vibrant Telangana-flavored tune composed by Vijai Bulganin. The glimpse introduces Harsh Roshan’s character searching for Rajamma (played by Sridevi Apalla), with warm, humorous exchanges in the Telangana dialect that immediately resonate with audiences.
Adding further depth to the film is Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose, who pens the songs. The technical crew includes Siva Mupparaju (editing & screenplay), Satish Mutyala (cinematography), and a strong supporting cast led by versatile actor Saikumar.
