Following the success of 'Morgan', actor Vijay Antony is back with another powerful project, 'Bhadrakali'. Directed by Arun Prabhu, the film is produced by Ramanjeneyulu Javvaji under the Sharavanth Ram Creations banner and presented by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and Meera Vijay Antony. The film, which is being hailed as a landmark movie for Vijay Antony, is set to release on September 19. During a recent press meet, heroines Trupti Ravindra and Riya Jithu shared details about the film.
Heroine Trupti Ravindra said, "I am from Maharashtra, and this is my first film as a heroine in Tamil. Before entering films, I worked as a software engineer. Even during my engineering days, I had a great passion for cinema. I gave auditions for theater plays, and acting in front of the camera gives me immense joy. I have also done some TV commercials."
She added, "I got an audition call for this film from Arun's direction team. After the look test, I was finalized for the role. I am playing a very relatable character in this film that everyone will connect with. The director has designed the character beautifully. The entire shooting experience was wonderful, and I enjoyed it a lot. Working with Vijay Antony was a great experience, and the director and producer were very supportive. Telugu audiences embrace all kinds of films and celebrate cinema in a big way. I hope this film also gives them a great experience."
Heroine Riya Jithu said, "I am a Malayali and grew up watching Tamil and Malayalam films. I have experience as a child artist, having worked in about 15 films. I took a break from acting to focus on my studies and returned to films after completing my education."
"I am very happy to be part of Vijay Antony's 25th film. I grew up listening to his music, and I am a big fan of it. I have played a different character in this film, which I can't reveal much about right now. Vijay Antony is a very humble person, and I learned a lot from him.
