'Bookie', a new youthful entertainer starring Ajay Dishan and Dhanusha, has been officially launched with a grand puja ceremony. The film is directed by Ganesh Chandra and produced by Ramanjeneyulu Javvaji under the banners of Vijay Antony Film Corporation and Sharavanth Ram Creations. VAFC is presenting the film.
The muhurtham shot was clapped by Satyadev, while C. Kalyan switched on the camera. Manchu Lakshmi handed over the script. Vijay Antony and Ramanjaneyulu served as honorary directors for the first shot.
The film's cast includes Pandiyarajan, Sunil, Manchu Lakshmi, Indumathi, and Vivek Prasanna in key roles. Vijay Antony is also composing the music for the film.
At the film's launch press meet, Vijay Antony said, "Hello everyone. We have already started the shooting for this film. I have seen the footage, and it looks fantastic. This film is being made with a great team. The director, Chandra, worked as the cinematographer for my film 'Doctor Saleem.' I am confident that 'Bookie' will be a commercial success. We plan to release the film in February. Thank you all so much."
