Rebel Star Prabhas is set to delve into an unprecedented realm of horror and fantasy with his upcoming film, 'The RajaSaab.' At the heart of this cinematic spectacle lies a truly monumental creation: a sprawling Haveli, officially declared India's largest horror set ever built, encompassing an astonishing 41,256 square feet.
Designed by the acclaimed art director Rajeevan Nambiar, this Haveli is far more than a mere backdrop; it's envisioned as an immersive, living, breathing entity, as integral to the narrative as the characters themselves. From towering, imposing doors to shadowy, winding corridors and rooms that seem to whisper ancient secrets, every inch of the Haveli is packed with layers designed to unfold with the progression of the story.
"Every detail had to serve the emotion, not just the aesthetics. We didn’t want the set to look haunted—we wanted it to feel haunted," shares Rajeevan Nambiar, articulating the meticulous thought behind its construction. "The intention was to build something that starts pulling you in the moment you enter—whether you're a viewer or someone walking through it."
Adding to the excitement, this monumental Haveli will be opened exclusively to national media on June 16th, coinciding with the official teaser drop for 'The RajaSaab.' This exclusive visit will offer journalists a firsthand preview of the immersive world envisioned by director Maruthi. Known for his distinctive touch in the horror-fantasy genre, Maruthi has masterfully blended grand scale with deep emotion to create a truly captivating cinematic space.
Every custom-built element within the Haveli—from each stone and prop to every subtle shade—has been carefully curated to heighten the horror experience. Even the flooring has been uniquely designed to add an eerie texture to the visuals, emphasizing that this is not just set design, but a profound act of storytelling through space.
Backed by People Media Factory and produced by Viswa Prasad, 'The RajaSaab' is gearing up for a worldwide release on December 5, 2025. The film will be launched in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With music by Thaman S and a scale that promises to be genuinely game-changing, 'The RajaSaab' is not merely a film; it's an immersive experience waiting to unfold.
