"Farmer is King": Industry Bigwigs Shower Love on Hey Chikkitha at a Grand, Emotion-Packed Pre-Release Event

The buzz surrounding the upcoming youthful rural drama Hey Chikkitha has reached a crescendo. Jointly bankrolled by Amaravathi Movie Makers and Sundarakanda Motion Pictures, the film is produced by N. Ashok RNS and the acclaimed technician 'Garudavega' Anji. Ahead of its highly anticipated theatrical release on July 24, the makers hosted a spectacular pre-release event to unveil the film's emotional theatrical trailer.

The star-studded evening saw the attendance of Tollywood stalwarts, including veteran producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, action directors Ram-Lakshman Masters, veteran comedian Ali, director V.N. Aditya, and Prasanna Kumar.

A Nostalgic Blessing from a Veteran

Speaking at the event, chief guest Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao grew nostalgic as he looked at the passionate young crew:

"When I was a young filmmaker, I produced Laila, and it made incredible profits just through audio rights. Seeing this energetic team brings back those beautiful memories. Scoring a hit with a small-budget, content-driven film brings an incomparable sense of satisfaction. Anji’s cinematography looks world-class, and I sincerely hope this film brings immense recognition to everyone who poured their heart into it."

Adding to the appreciation, acclaimed director G. Nageswara Reddy gave a glowing early review:

"I have already watched Hey Chikkitha. The first half is an absolute laugh riot packed with solid entertainment, while the second half takes a deeply emotional turn. The climax is so moving it will leave audiences in tears."

Celebrating the Soul of the Soil: The Core Theme

What sets Hey Chikkitha apart is its meaningful narrative layered under the tagline "Farmer is King".

Popular actor-comedian Ali touched upon this core message during his speech:

"While I hope Hey Chikkitha becomes as massive a blockbuster as the iconic song from Badri, I am deeply moved by its theme. We live in a world where we wonder if future generations will even see agriculture, but our nation survives purely because of our farmers. Blending youth culture with a farming background is a wonderful attempt."

The action duo Ram-Lakshman Masters also resonated heavily with the film's visuals:

"Village life is a treasure trove of beautiful love stories. Looking at the posters immediately reminded us of our own roots. We survive because farmers sweat in the fields, and this movie honors that truth."

The Creative Pillars Speak

For director Dhanraj Lekkala, this marks a dream directorial debut. "I truly believe I have crafted a meaningful film that speaks directly to today's youth and honors our farmers. I am infinitely grateful to my producers, Anji anna and Ashok anna, for completely backing my vision," he expressed emotionally.

Veteran actor Devi Prasad highlighted a standout moment in the movie, noting:

"Charan Arjun's music and Anji’s visuals are the absolute pillars of this project. There is a specific sequence where a daughter steps forward to carry her family's farming legacy ahead—played beautifully by Yodha—that genuinely gave me goosebumps."

The film's lead cast—Abhinav Manikanta, Divija Prabhakar (who plays 'Chitti'), and Tanmay Khushi (who plays 'Potti')—expressed their profound gratitude to the technical crew, especially music director Charan Arjun, whose outstanding soundtrack has already turned the film into a major talking point among listeners.

With its heart in the right place, high-ranking industry support, and a beautifully layered emotional narrative, Hey Chikkitha is gearing up to win the hearts of the audience on July 24.
