The highly anticipated #Mega157, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by blockbuster hit machine Anil Ravipudi, has officially commenced its second schedule in the picturesque hill station of Mussoorie. The film, produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmitha Konidela under the Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment banners, and presented by Smt. Archana, features Nayanthara as the female lead.
The team recently wrapped up its first schedule in Hyderabad, which included Chiranjeevi's portions. Reports from the set indicate that the rushes are outstanding, promising a return to the vintage Megastar comedy timing that defined his golden era in the 1990s and 2000s—a definite visual treat for fans.
The current 10-day schedule in Mussoorie will see Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, and VTV Ganesh, among other principal cast members, filming crucial and entertaining sequences. This marks Nayanthara's third collaboration with Chiranjeevi, following their work in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather.
To kick off the schedule, the makers released a pleasant video showcasing Chiranjeevi's charismatic presence. The visual features him seated on a table in a school ground, giving a thumbs-up as children enthusiastically run towards him. The joyful atmosphere is further enhanced by the delightful music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Director Anil Ravipudi, fresh off the success of his recent festive entertainer Sankranti ki Vasthunnam, is already building excitement around #Mega157 with his trademark creative promotions.
The film's technical team includes Sameer Reddy as cinematographer and Thammiraju as editor. Bheems Ceciroleo is handling the music. S. Krishna and G. Adi Narayana are the co-writers, with S. Krishna also serving as Executive Producer. A.S. Prakash is the art director.
This high-profile project is slated for a Sankranti 2026 release, setting the stage for a grand cinematic experience.
