Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly declined to participate in media interviews or promotional events for his upcoming film, "Pathaan."
According to a close source, Khan believes that traditional media promotion and praising his costars in interviews would damage the film's image. He has also turned down invitations to appear on popular Indian TV shows, such as "Bigg Boss 16" hosted by Salman Khan and "The Kapil Sharma Show" by Kapil Sharma Instead, Khan prefers to reach his audience directly.
Despite this lack of conventional promotion, the film has received attention after the release of the song "Besharam Rang" and has become a topic of political discussion. "Pathaan" is set to release on January 25, 2023.
