The highly anticipated pan-India film 'Kuberaa,' starring Superstar Dhanush, King Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, and helmed by Sekhar Kammula, celebrated a grand musical milestone today with the launch of its new song, "Pee Pee Dum Dum," in Mumbai. With its exceptional cast, 'Kuberaa' is poised to be a game-changer in Indian cinema, building on the tremendous response already received for its promotional content, including chartbusters like "Poyiraa Mama" and "Trance of Kuberaa."
Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under SVCLLP in collaboration with Sekhar Kammula's Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, 'Kuberaa'1 is a high-budget production set for a grand worldwide release on June 20th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Speaking passionately at the song launch, Dhanush shared his profound connection to the film: "'Kuberaa' is a very special film, a very different film that is very close to my heart. The shooting experience was fantastic, and working with Nagarjuna Garu brought me immense joy. We worked with a truly positive team."
He then playfully revealed, "I played a beggar character in this film. I won’t say I did a lot of research or homework for this role (laughs), I just followed our director! Sekhar Garu is a brilliant director and a very pure person. He's the reason I did this film. He narrated the story for just 20 minutes, and I loved his energy so much that I immediately said yes. This film is made with extreme honesty. It brought back memories of my childhood." Dhanush also recounted a memorable seven-hour shoot in a dumpyard with Rashmika, where she remarkably claimed she didn't smell anything ("I don't know what happened to her!" he chuckled). He concluded by urging audiences, "Watch this film on June 20th. You will definitely love it."
King Nagarjuna expressed his gratitude to the audience: "Thank you all for the love you show. From Shiva to Criminal, my films have always been greatly embraced here. Even my dubbed films have been wonderfully accepted."
He spoke about his long-standing desire to work with the director: "'Kuberaa' is very special to me. When I wanted to do something different, Sekhar came along. I've wanted to work with him for the past 15 years, so when he narrated this film, I didn't think twice. Sekhar is a brilliant filmmaker with amazing sensibilities, and his heart is very pure, which truly shows on screen." Nagarjuna also praised his co-stars: "Working with Jim Sarbh was a great experience; he spoke Telugu wonderfully. Rashmika is a powerhouse of talent; all her films are blockbusters, and she acted wonderfully in this one. I called her to congratulate her after watching her dubbing. Her performance will truly entertain you." He added, "Devi Sri Prasad is my favorite music director. He gave outstanding music for this film and elevated it to another level. Actor Jim Sarbh conveyed his appreciation: "Hello everyone. I did most of my scenes with Nagarjuna Garu in this film. It was a great experience working with him; he is very relaxed. I spoke Telugu dialogues for this film, which was quite challenging. Nag Sir made me feel very comfortable. I will never forget his support.
