Jubin Nautiyal Lends Soulful Voice to 'Saiyaara's' New Romantic Track "Barbaad"; Mohit Suri Calls Him the "Voice of a Generation"
Mumbai, Maharashtra – June 5, 2025 – Following the success of its title track, Yash Raj Films and director Mohit Suri have released "Barbaad," the second song from their highly anticipated romantic film 'Saiyaara.' This soulful new track, sung by Jubin Nautiyal with lyrics and composition by The Rish!, is poised to become another romantic anthem.
Mohit Suri revealed his strong conviction in bringing Jubin Nautiyal on board for this song, stating, "There are always singers who become the voice of a generation for romance and Jubin Nautiyal is definitely right up there! I was always sure that the album of Saiyaara would have Jubin singing a soulful romantic track. When I got Barbaad, I knew Jubin would be the perfect fit.”

The film 'Saiyaara,' which has garnered praise for its intense love story and the infectious chemistry of its debutant lead actors, derives its title from a poetic concept. "Saiyaara" means a wandering celestial body, often used in poetry to describe something dazzling, ethereal, or otherworldly – a wandering star that is always shining and guiding, yet always just out of reach.
'Saiyaara' introduces Ahaan Panday as the male lead to the Hindi film industry and stars Aneet Padda (known for her performance in the acclaimed series Big Girls Don’t Cry) as the female lead. The film is produced by YRF's CEO Akshaye Widhani and is set for a worldwide theatrical release on July 18, 2025.
