MV Radhakrishna Bags Telugu Rights for Music Sensation Ravi Basrur's Directorial Debut "Veera Chandrahasa"
Producer Radhakrishna Confident of Success in Telugu, Following Blockbuster Talk in Kannada
Ravi Basrur, the music director who created a sensation with his scores for action blockbusters like "KGF" and "Salaar," is now proving his mettle as a director. His directorial venture, the Kannada film "Veera Chandrahasa," features Kannada star Shivarajkumar in a pivotal role, along with Shithil Shetty, Nagashree GS, Prasanna Shettygar Mandarthi, Uday Kadabal, Ravindra Devadiga, Nagaraj Sarvegar, Gunashree M Nayak, Sridhar Kasarkodu, Shwetha Arehole, and Prajwal Kinnal in key roles. Presented by leading Kannada production house Hombale Films under the Onkar Movies banner, the film was released in Kannada on April 18th and has garnered a blockbuster hit talk. Now, the film is gearing up for its Telugu release. MV Radhakrishna, under the Kanchi Kamakshi Kolkata Kali Creations banner, will be releasing the film in the Telugu states. Radhakrishna has earned a reputation as a producer with good taste, having previously released Shivarajkumar's "Veda" and Prajwal Devaraj's "Rakshasa" in Telugu. He has now acquired the Telugu rights for "Veera Chandrahasa" and will announce the film's release date soon.
Speaking on the occasion, producer MV Radhakrishna said, "'Veera Chandrahasa' has received a hit talk and is registering good collections since its recent release in Kannada. I am very happy to have acquired the Telugu rights for this movie. Telugu audiences always appreciate films with good content, and I am hopeful that they will shower their love on this film as well. "Veera Chandrahasa" is based on a story from the Ashwamedhika Parva of the epic Mahabharata. It narrates the inspiring tale of an orphaned boy who grows up to become the valiant and virtuous Veera Chandrahasudu.
In a first for cinema, Yakshagana, a traditional Indian theatre form, will be presented on the silver screen in its full glory, promising a unique cinematic experience for the audience.
