How did the movie "Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi" start?

• We wanted to do a film with Kalyan Ram Garu. He was doing more experimental films. We got this story prepared to do a mass commercial film with him. Everything from the story idea to the execution was tailored for Kalyan Ram Garu. We had decided beforehand that Vijayashanthi Garu should play the mother's character. This is a film made with thorough planning. It's a good emotional action film.

What was the reason for choosing Pradeep Garu as the director?

• I did a web film with Pradeep Garu. I had a good experience with him. Moreover, he is a director who knows the commercial meter. He seemed like the better choice for this story. He has wonderfully directed this high-emotion film.

Ashok Garu, it's been ten years since you directed "Ala Ela." How did it feel to do this film again?

• I did "Ala Ela" for my friend Aneesh. Sunil was also in it. Sunil promoted that film. Kalyan is my friend. We did this project to make a film together.

Tell us about Vijayashanthi Garu's role?

• When we think of a lady police officer, Vijayashanthi Garu is the first person that comes to mind. She appears in a role inspired by the film "Karthavyam." We were very confident that she would okay this story. We were very happy when she agreed to do this film as per our belief. She has played a very powerful role in it.

We heard that the film has a big budget. Didn't you feel it was risky to do it on such a scale with a new director?

• We wanted to do a good mass action commercial film with Kalyan Ram Garu. We produced this film without compromising anywhere to match that. First, we believed in the story. We spent what the story required. Every rupee spent will be visible on the screen.

After seeing the final output, did it meet your expectations?

• Definitely. The film has come out much better than we expected.

What did NTR share with you after watching the movie?

• NTR Garu was the first person to watch the film. After watching it, he spoke very confidently. He said the emotional action was top-notch. He asked us to ensure there were no compromises in the re-recording. Ajaneesh has given amazing music. As NTR Garu said, the last twenty minutes will definitely bring tears to your eyes. The reason for this is the emotion built up from the beginning of the film. As NTR Garu said, the film will definitely be a big hit.

What precautions did you take regarding the story?

• The story of this film has turned out very well. Kalyan Ram Garu's and Vijayashanthi Garu's characters are equally strong. In terms of performance, these are equally powerful characters. The emotion in the film will be wonderful. The audience won't take their phones out in the second half. It will be that engaging. There will be excitement about what will happen next. Every action scene comes as part of the story. Films with such gripping screenplays are very rare.

• Kalyan Ram Garu and Vijayashanthi Garu supported us wonderfully. The film has come out so well because of their support. We have honestly conveyed the emotion we intended.

• It is Kalyan Ram Garu's greatness to agree to this film and story. Giving so much importance to the mother's character doesn't usually happen. This kind of film is coming to the audience only because of Kalyan Garu's big heart. The film has amazing buzz from all sides.

Tell us about Sohail Khan's character?

• We took a lot of care in casting the actors for this film. If anything in a film has to feel new, the casting for the roles has to be new. The director had the idea to cast Sohail Khan for the villain's character in this film. He has performed wonderfully.

Which episode did you find the best in this?

• There are three episodes in this that I found to be the best. All three episodes come in the second half. All three are unique in their own way.

You both produced the film. Didn't you have any creative differences?

• We have been friends for a long time. We both have a good wavelength. That's why we are able to work together.

Sunil Garu, what is your next project?

• There are three films. They are ongoing.

Ashok Garu, what are you doing next? What kind of films are you going to do?

• You will see regular films from me this time. Personally, I like thrillers.
