Megastar Chiranjeevi and his team are on cloud nine following the success of his latest release 'Waltair Veerayya' as the film conquered the hearts and minds of his fans. Now all eyes are naturally on how his next film Bhola Shankar would shape up.
The film is a remake of Ajith's 'Vedalam' which was a hit in Tamil many years ago and the movie lacks any comedy element. One major factor for Veerayya's success is Chiru mark comedy. Although his last release 'Godfather' lacked any punch due to its remake being Lucifer, since it was from their own production house, it could be managed.
But the audience would be expecting something more from Chiru next time and hence, it is important to at least alter 50 percent of the original film to make Bhola Shankar appealing for the audience. Otherwise, it would be challenging for the film to become a success since Vedalam's frame to frame remake without extra elements may not appeal to Chiru fans. To top it all, Meher Ramesh's track record is quite alarming so it remains to be seen how this project will shape up.
