It has been quite a while since anyone has heard from rowdy star Vijay Deverakonda. That is expected because his much hyped movie 'Liger' became a colossal disaster at the box office. Prior to the release of the movie, Vijay rubbed a few wrong feathers when he became a tad bit too brash in front of the media and what not.
Anyways, past is past and the outcome of 'Liger' has not reduced or diminished the craze for Vijay. While he is taking a bit of time to talk about his next project, here's what we have come to know. A crazy project has been planned with Vijay in the lead and this time he is going to share the screen space with a superstar.
He is none other than the Malayalam biggie Mohanlal. According to sources, this project is being bankrolled by the mighty Mythri Movie Makers and they have locked this unusual combination for a new movie. Not just that, the film is going to be helmed by yet another Malayalam filmmaker named Tinu Pappachan who came up with some crazy movies in Mollywood.
The film is being made at a very high budget and it is heard that Tinu has penned a very interesting story which is going to be very exciting. Those who heard this are saying this is a sensible move from Vijay as the risk mitigation is less and the chances of success are high. After scoring big with the likes of 'Arjun Reddy' and 'Geetha Govindam' Vijay has not been able to grab a hit of his range so, this could well be the solution to success he was seeking.
Further details about the project are yet to be revealed and going by the looks of it, this one is also going to be a pan India movie. If this works, Vijay will bounce back into the race with a bang.
