The highly anticipated Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand collaboration, "King," is buzzing with casting speculations, the latest being Deepika Padukone's potential involvement. While Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan, is confirmed for a lead role, and Abhishek Bachchan is rumored as the antagonist, new reports suggest Deepika could play a significant part in this action thriller.

According to Peepingmoon, Deepika Padukone is being considered for an extended cameo, portraying Suhana's character's mother in a revenge-driven narrative. The film is reportedly drawing inspiration from the 2000 film "Bichhoo," with Shah Rukh Khan playing an assassin assisting Suhana's character in her quest for vengeance.

Intriguingly, the report also claims that Saif Ali Khan and Tabu were initially considered for the parental roles. Moreover, Shah Rukh Khan's involvement has reportedly evolved significantly since Siddharth Anand took the directorial reins from Sujoy Ghosh. Originally planned as an extended cameo for SRK, "King" has now transformed into a full-fledged tentpole feature for the superstar.

If Deepika Padukone's casting is confirmed, "King" would mark her sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan, following their successful ventures in "Om Shanti Om," "Chennai Express," "Happy New Year," "Pathaan," and "Jawan."

The evolving narrative and star-studded cast of "King" are generating considerable excitement, promising a compelling cinematic experience for audiences.
