Prominent film producer and personality Bandla Ganesh has officially commenced his 'Sankalpa Yatra', a spiritual foot march (Padayatra) from Shadnagar to Tirumala. Clarifying the intent behind this journey, Ganesh stated that this is not a political move but the fulfillment of a divine vow (mokku) made for the well-being and release of TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu.
The Motivation: A Vow for a Leader
During a press meet at the start of the yatra, Bandla Ganesh grew emotional while recalling the events that led to this decision.

The Shock of Arrest: Ganesh shared that as a person who wakes up at 4 AM, he was devastated to see the news of Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. He questioned how a leader with 40 years of political history and a global reputation could be treated that way.

The Vow: Fearing for Naidu’s health and safety during his 52-day stint in Rajahmundry jail, Ganesh visited the Supreme Court during hearings. He vowed to Lord Venkateswara that if Naidu returned home safely, he would walk from his own doorstep in Shadnagar to the hills of Tirumala.

The Fulfillment: "By God's grace, the pride of the Telugu people, Chandrababu Naidu Garu, is out. I am now fulfilling that debt. Every step I take represents the step of a Chandrababu fan," Ganesh declared.
