The association, over the past 27 years, has consistently recognized and encouraged actors, technicians, and other professionals in the Telugu film industry with prestigious awards.
This year's Ugadi awards ceremony was held in Chennai under the auspices of the Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association, amidst grand celebrations, attended by numerous film personalities.
- Gaddam Saroja was honored with the Mahila Ratna Award. Speaking on the occasion, she attributed her success to the support of her husband Vivek and family, emphasizing that women can achieve anything with family backing.
- Guduri Narayana Reddy received the Ugadi Award for his historical film "Razakar."
- Cherry, accepting the Ugadi Award for the film "Mathu Vadalara," mentioned that Ravi and Naveen Yerneni couldn't attend, and he was accepting the award on their behalf.
- Renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu, despite his busy schedule with the "Peddi" shooting, expressed his happiness at receiving the Ugadi Award.
