The North America Telugu Society (NATS) is gearing up for its 8th Telugu Celebrations event, scheduled to take place in Tampa, USA, from July 4th to 6th. Recently, NATS organized a grand curtain raiser event for the 8th Telugu Celebrations in Hyderabad. The event featured a press conference with Telugu Celebrations Conference Convener and former Chairman Srinivas Gutikonda, and NATS Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni, who attended from the USA. Prominent guests included actresses Jayasudha and Aamani, directors Harish Shankar and Meher Ramesh, music director Thaman, and lyricists Ramajogayya Sastry, Chandrabose, and Kalyan Chakravarthy.
During the event, NATS Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni stated, "NATS represents service and language. We established this organization in 2009 to support Telugu people in America. While we have friends and relatives to support us here, Telugu people in America often lack such support. NATS provides them with courage and support. NATS stands as a source of strength and trust for Telugu people everywhere. We aim to pass on our language to future generations, ensuring they learn it. We also strive to provide assistance in times of need. We are delighted to host the 8th Telugu Celebrations. Several Telugu poets, artists, actors, and other prominent figures will attend the event. Our 300-member committees are working diligently for this event, and we expect 10,000 people to participate. We are planning the organization's development and service activities for the next 15 years."
Conference Convener Srinivas Gutikonda said, "I welcome all the guests who have joined us today. The Telugu language is very rich, and NATS aims to preserve it and pass on our cultural traditions to future generations. Our service activities have received widespread praise. We will continue to organize many such events in the future. We are planning to make the 8th Telugu Celebrations an unprecedented success. We invite everyone to participate in large numbers. Let's celebrate this event like a festival, similar to Dasara and Diwali."
Actress Jayasudha remarked, "NATS is not just about celebrations; it's a service-oriented organization. I was invited to previous NATS Telugu Celebrations, but I couldn't attend due to my mother's passing. I will definitely attend this time. Recently, I acted in an English movie, and its shooting took place near the venue of the NATS Telugu Celebrations. I wish the NATS event a great success."
Music director Thaman said, "I participated in the previous NATS Telugu Celebrations, and now I'm going to perform for them a second time. Devi Sri Prasad will also join me for a concert. We are also playing a cricket tournament on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with NATS 11 teams competing against our team. Akhil, Sudheer Babu, and others from our team are ready for the match. I am associated with NATS because of Prashanth and Srinivas, who respect us greatly. I hope this event will be even more successful."
Director Harish Shankar said, "Prashanth and Srinivas are good friends of mine. I agreed to attend the NATS event as soon as they called. Their service to the Telugu language and our cultural traditions is remarkable. They support Telugu people wherever they are. Director Meher Ramesh said, "The NATS organization's logo itself represents language and service. It is a great organization. They did many service activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am happy to attend their event."
Lyricist Chandrabose said, "I thank NATS for not only preserving the Telugu language but also ensuring it reaches future generations. I am participating in the NATS Telugu Celebrations and will be doing a program with Ramajogayya Sastry."

Actress Aamani said, "I was very happy when I was invited to participate in the NATS Telugu Celebrations. I said I would definitely come. A purposeful organization like NATS should expand its services further."
