In the Telangana Lok Sabha elections of 2024, both the BJP and Congress have emerged as dominant forces, each leading in eight parliamentary constituencies out of the total 17.
The Indian National Congress, currently in power, holds sway in eight constituencies, while the Bharatiya Janata Party has secured a similar number. Notably, the BRS party, which previously held power, has failed to lead in any seat.
Prominent BJP candidates leading include G Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad and Asaduddin Owaisi of the AIMIM party is in the lead against BJP's K Madhavi Latha in the Hyderabad constituency.
Telangana state went for the Parliamentary elections for its 17 Lok Sabha constituencies on May 13, 2024. As the final results are set to be known by the end of the day on Tuesday, the counting process across the counting centers began at 8am on Tuesday morning.
