Banjara Hills police booked Bharat Rashtra Samithi(BRS) MP and former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s nephew J Santhosh Kumar under cheating case. The incident came to light on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
According to the complainant, Navayuga Engineering Company Limited(NECL), J Santhosh Kumar created fabricated documents of 1350 square yards of land in Road Number 14 Banjara Hills, which originally belonged to NECL company. Subsequently, two rooms were built on the same land.
After coming to their notice and verifying the same, NECL lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police of Hyderabad commissionerate against Santhosh Kumar and requested the police to take subsequent action for criminal trespassing and illegal act of conspiracy and forgery.
Based on the complaint Banjara Hills police booked a case under sections 420, 468, 471, 447 under Indian Penal Code(IPC) and further investigation is underway.
