The ruling party of Telangana has been in power for the last 10 years. But they still are in position to go to polls without referring to the Andhra Pradesh political and geographical system.
Today, BRS leader Erraballi Dayakar Rao made a wild comment that the power wires in Andhra Pradesh are useless and the state is engulfed in darkness without any development. He is of the implication that the state is having power problems.
But in reality, Andhra Pradesh has the highest power supply demand in all of India and matching the same is tough. The YCP government has been trying its best to secure the power contracts at the lowest possible price so that there's lesser pressure on the state exchequer.
As for BRS, one can only wonder what is the reason for them to target AP. Recently, even Harish Rao provoked AP people by saying selling 1 acre in Telangana can get 100 acres in Andhra Pradesh.
If the BRS rule is on point and public-pleasing, then the public themselves will speak about it, there is no need for these BRS leaders to cry foul on other state. But the BRS leaders have made it a point to poke the bear by provoking AP. It is only a matter of time before this backfires.
