JP crying over Hyderabad Metro. Civil Servant turned politician Jayaprakash Narayan claims himself to be an intellectual. He airs his views on current developments and in the midst of all this he shared his thoughts on CM KCR's decision to expand and extend Hyderabad Metro services. It is known that CM KCR announced plans to extend the Metro Rail alongside the Outer Ring Road.
However, much to the shock of all, Jayapraksh Narayan expressed his opposition saying the ORR metro was not feasible and even Metro Rail experts informed him the same. He asked the government to concentrate on playing the RTC busses. He said though the Metro Rail extension plan is good, it will be a loss venture as not many people will commute using it.
This is triggering angry reactions from the Telangana parties. They said Jayaprakash Narayan is unhappy with the Telangana development and reminded that Jaya Prakash once opposed the formation of the Telangana state. They also said that Jayaprakash went on record that Telangana as a state cannot even sustain even a single day and he is spewing venom on its development speaking about Hyderabad metro development.
Even the Metro rail experts are opposing Jaya Prakash Narayan's claims saying that they never aired views against the Metro.
