BRS MLAs experiencing HC fears. In the run-up to the 2024 elections, the sitting BRS MLAs are experiencing HC fears. It is known that many of the opponents approached High Cout seeking disqualification of more than 25 BRS MLAs alleging that they indulged in malpractices, and submitted false affidavits during the 2019 elections.
Aleady the High Court passed a verdict that Kothagudam MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao's election is null and void. The High Court also made clear that it will investigate the petitions filed against Minister Srinivas Goud and MP BB. Patil. This is becoming a hot topic as to how many petitions are filed against how many BRS representatives.
It is coming out that more than 30 petitions are pending in the court and among them petitions filed on 25 BRS MLas. All those petitions sought the disqualification of these MLAs. All these petitions are filed ahead of the 2019 elections in 2018. Petitions are filed against Koppla Eswar, Srinivas Goud, Gangula Kamalakar, Chennamaneni Ramesh, Marri Janardhan, Muttireddy, Gudem Mahipal Reddy, and others and the court is investigating a few of the charges.
Now BRS MLAs are experiencing tensions as to when the High Court will disqualify them as it will hamper their political future.
