Jalagam Venkatrao on Kothagudem twist. It is known that the Telangana High Court shocked all by disqualifying BRS MLA Vanama Rao for filing false affidavit during the 2018 elections. It is known that Vanama Rao got elected on a Congress ticket defeating the BRS candidate Jagalam Venkatrao. Later he joined the KCR-led BRS party.
However Jalagam Venkatrao filed a petition against Vanama Rao in the High Court and after four years, High Court struck down the election of Kothagudem MLA Vanama Venkateswara Rao and declared his defeated rival, Jalagam Venkat Rao, elected.In the midst of all this, Jalagam Venkatrao met Assembly Secretary with the copy of the court order and requested him to recognize him as the MLA.
He also said that he will continue working for the BRS party as how he worked in 2014. He said everyone knows what is happening in his constituency and whenever KCR called him, he met him. He said he won the elections on BRS B form and said he will meet CEO Vikas Raj today evening. Jalagam has been fighting against Vanama Rao's victory for the last fours years and finally, he got the justice.
It has tobe seen how KCR will react and what Vanama Rao will do in future.
