Nara Lokesh is facing legal disputes in Andhra Pradesh after the CID complained about him threatening the government officials by flaunting his "Red Book". A court case was also filed to challenge Lokesh on this aspect.
Now, amidst the legal action, Lokesh has revealed the contents of his red book and he took to Twitter to reveal the actual facts pertaining to the same.
"TDP has always believed that bureaucrats and police officers must do the right thing. Our tenures are free of any incidents of witch-hunting or persecution of officers. However, what we have witnessed in the last 5 years is an extraordinary abuse of power and machinery. Unfortunately, some tainted officials have gone to great lengths to carry out this agenda to harass and intimidate legitimate Opposition to the anarchic acts of the state administration, which have been destroying the very fabric of democracy in Andhra Pradesh.
We assure the victims of this abuse of human rights that justice will be served to them through legal processes.
The "Red Book" is the list of public grievances and will serve as a reminder for justice to be delivered to those innocent people, who have suffered due to misuse of law and abuse of authority, Lokesh tweeted.
