YCP's sitting MP from Narasaraopeta, Lavu Krishna Deva Rayulu has submitted his resignation to the YCP membership and also quit the MP post effective immediately. He is said to be in talks with the TDP high command and will join the party soon. He has already met with Chandra Babu Naidu a couple of days ago.
Reportedly, things fell apart between Lavu and the YCP high command when he first refused to hold a press meet on the occasion of Chandra Babu getting jailed. His reluctance brought doubts on his loyalty to YCP.
And then, Lavu was asked to move to Guntur MP constituency as the YCP high command plans to give the Narasaraopeta ticket to a BC candidate. And again, Lavu expressed discontentment and was persistent on getting the Narasaraopeta ticket.
This way, Lavu ha been irking the YCP high command on many occasions. In the end, he was advised to leave the party if he doesn't wish to abide by the rules. Lavu was also aware of the situation in YCP and he remained in touch with Chandra Babu himself as well. In the end, his run with YCP has come to an end.
