Nara Lokesh no longer to be used by TDP?

Telugu Desam Party has started its election campaign in Andhra Pradesh with Chandra Babu Naidu turning increasingly active in AP politics. He is the one who is campaigning for TDP now.

Apparently, Nara Lokesh has been left aside by TDP top brass and he is not likely to feature in the election campaign of the party for the coming election.

TDP apparently feels that Lokesh's lackluster speeches will do more bad than good for TDP as they did in the past and they are not risking the idea of using him for the election campaign and end up losing more public support than they can possibly gain.

More importantly, the utter failure of Lokesh's Padayatra has meant that TDP top leadership has completely lost trust and interest in Lokesh. He is no longer seen as the face or the future of the party.

Lokesh will apparently be confined to contesting in Mangalagiri and that is it. If he wins in Mangalagiri, then it is alright, and if he fails, then it is the same old story with not much change.

It has to be seen how Lokesh will deal with his situation. He has come down from being the future of the party to becoming the biggest drawback for the party.
