Chandra Babu Naidu, despite being in politics for 40 years and serving as the chief minister for 14 years has never won an election on his own. He is always in the lookout for some ally or the other. The only time he contested alone is in 2019 and TDP was restricted to 23 seats and is facing existential crisis now.
CBN is not repeating this mistake again in 2024 as he has already forged an alliance with the familiar JSP and its boss Pawan Kalyan. But JSP's votes polarization is a mess, as was seen in 2019 when the party won 1 single MLA.
So, CBN doesn't appear to be fully trusting Pawan Kalyan and his JSP in the coming year's election and he has now onboarded another PK to work at his disposal. The new PK is none other than leading political strategist, Prashant Kishor.
CBN sent his son Nara Lokesh to personally meet PK in Delhi and bring him to Vijayawada. PK and Lokesh landed in Vijayawada earlier and they are meeting with CBN now. In all probability, Chandra Babu will work with two PKs in the coming election. While one is Pawan Kalyan, the other is Prashant Kishor.
