Telugu Desam Party is holding an event called Nava Sakam today and it is being attended by Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, Chandra Babu Naidu and Nandamuri Balakrishna. This has to be one of the biggest flop fests in the history of AP politics.
For instance, only two of these four people are MLAs. Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan have lost as MLAs in 2019 and things don't look very bright in 2024 either. Balakrishna wins from TDP bastion of Hindupur and CBN wins from Kuppam, where TDP is traditionally strong. There are strong anti-winds for CBN in Kuppam as well, this time.
These political leaders together have 24 MLAs on their side and nearly 5 of them have left them and moved on with YCP. The irony is that these political leaders will now start to take on Jagan Mohan Reddy who single-handedly won 151 MLAs in 2019.
Jagan alone is 6X powerful than these four political leaders in terms of MLAs strength. But that wont stop these leaders from crying foul on Jagan today. This will now go down as a mega flop fest in the context of AP politics.
