It is announced that the election schedule for Andhra Pradesh polls will be out in March, 2024. The elections will follow, in April or May. Meanwhile, the parties are already on high ground as they are preparing the stage for the coming polls.
In this context, the latest updates are suggesting that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is leaving no stone unturned to pump up his party with the best prospects for the coming elections season.
Apparently, Jagan is planning to field Prabhas's aunt and late Rebel Star Krishnam Raju's wife, Shyamala Devi from the Narsapuram constituency in Andhra Pradesh. This is a plan to downplay the image of YCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju in the Narsapuram constituency.
The idea from Jagan is to give the Narsapuram MP ticket to Shyamala Devi and thus attract the Raju community voters in the area. The 'Prabhas' factor will also come into play here and this could be a big deal in the coming polls. Jagan is hell-bent on beating RRR in Narsapuram for all the bad press the latter gave to the party with his anti-YCP stance.
It has to be seen if Jagan's plan will actually be able to help his party's prospects in the coming elections. This could well be the deciding factor in the coming polls in Narsapuram.
