Australian Black Ops mercenary Tyler Rake, played by Chris Hemsworth, returns from the dead in Extraction 2, the sequel to the 2020 blockbuster action thriller film Extraction. With another fatal mission in line, Rake is tasked with extracting a family from one of the world's deadliest prisons and facing a Georgian gangster hungry for revenge. Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first instalment, supported by Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, Olga Kurylenko, Adam Bessa and Tako Tabatadze. Directed by Sam Hargrave, who also helmed the first instalment, the story is written by the Russo Brothers Joe and Anthony, the director duo behind The Avengers: Endgame.
