A minor setback has hit the highly anticipated "War 2" production, as Hrithik Roshan sustained an injury during rehearsals for a high-octane dance number with NTR. The planned shoot, poised to be a visual spectacle featuring two of India's most electrifying dancers, has been temporarily postponed.

According to Bollywood Hungama, "Hrithik pushed himself during the rehearsals of an energetic song that was planned with Jr.1 NTR for War 2. During his practice, he got a niggle in his leg. When the doctors inspected Hrithik’s injury, they advised him not to risk it further and to rest his leg before he shoots this massive song.”2

While fans eagerly awaited the dance sequence, the makers are prioritizing Hrithik's recovery. Despite the setback, the film's release date remains firmly on track for August 14, 2025.3 The much-anticipated dance number is now slated to be filmed in May, ensuring Hrithik is fully healed and ready to deliver a show-stopping performance.4

"War 2," directed by Ayan Mukerji of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" fame, is a key installment in Yash Raj Films' (YRF) prestigious Spy Universe, promising a thrilling cinematic experience.5 Despite this temporary pause, the film's marketing plans remain unaffected, and audiences can still look forward to the explosive action and dance sequences that "War 2" promises.
