The much-loved family entertainer "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" is all set for a grand re-release on March 7. Even before its re-release, the film has already filled ten theaters, reflecting the immense love fans have for this classic. Speaking about the excitement surrounding the film’s return to the big screen, renowned producer Dil Raju expressed his joy, stating:

"We are thrilled to re-release "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" on March 7, Friday. Already, ten theaters are fully booked, which is an incredible response. Fans of Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh, along with family audiences, are eager to relive the beautiful moments shared between the two brothers on the big screen. It’s truly heartwarming to witness such enthusiasm."

A Film That Defined Family Drama

Directed by Srikanth Addala and produced under the prestigious banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations by Dil Raju, *Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu* was originally released in 2013 and became a monumental success. Starring Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu, the film resonated with audiences for its emotional depth, family values, and the heartwarming bond between two brothers.

During a press meet, Dil Raju reflected on the film’s journey:

"It feels great to meet the audience again after Sankranti. When we distributed *Tholiprema*, we retained its rights for five years, and during times of financial constraints, we would re-release films to generate revenue. Those were miracle days. Now, we see audiences taking immense interest in re-releases again. Despite being available on OTT platforms, people are still eager to watch "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" in theaters. This proves that good content always draws audiences back to cinemas."

A Nostalgic Return to Theaters

Dil Raju emphasized that re-releases are proving that theaters are still a prime destination for good cinema. "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" has already sold out 60-70% of its advance bookings in Andhra Pradesh. The enthusiasm is equally high overseas, with 50% of tickets already booked. Fans and families alike are eager to experience the magic of the film once again on the big screen.

"I will personally watch the 8 AM show at Sudarshan 35MM on March 7. After 12 years, I want to relive this film in theaters. Since the film focuses on brotherly love, I encourage everyone to come and enjoy it in cinemas once more."

Behind the Scenes: A Journey of Dedication

During the press meet, Dil Raju reminisced about the effort behind bringing Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh together for the film:

"From NTR to Chiranjeevi, multi-starrer films were a trend in Telugu cinema. However, at some point, they became rare. One day, director Srikanth Addala shared this idea with me. We first approached Venkatesh and then Mahesh Babu. Both of them instantly loved the story. It took nearly a year to shoot the film, and both actors invested a lot of time and effort into their roles, which is why the film feels so natural and genuine."

When asked about the possibility of a sequel, Dil Raju humorously responded:

"If someone comes up with a compelling idea for a sequel, I’m ready. Watch the re-release and bring me a great concept!"

Re-Release Buzz and Audience Response

With ten theaters already fully booked and increasing demand from both fans and family audiences, the re-release of "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" is shaping up to be a grand celebration. Overseas bookings are also impressive, proving that the film continues to hold a special place in the hearts of viewers.

"There’s no need to fear that audiences aren’t coming to theaters anymore. 'Vastunna Vachestunna' was a sensational hit this Sankranti, and even after its OTT release, it continues to break records. Audiences are very clear—they watch and support good cinema."

Box Office Expectations and Additional Footage

Regarding box office expectations for the re-release, Dil Raju stated:

"We aren’t focused on numbers; we’re simply thrilled to see audiences returning to theaters for this film. As a producer, seeing houseful shows after 12 years is an unmatched feeling."

When asked if any new footage has been added to the re-release, he laughed and said:

"We have a lot of unused footage, but we are releasing the same version that audiences loved back in 2013."

Upcoming Projects

In addition to the re-release of "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", Dil Raju’s banner has exciting new films lined up, including 'Rowdy Janardhan' with Vijay Deverakonda and 'Ellamma' with Nithiin, both set to commence production before May.

With immense love pouring in from fans and families alike, "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" is all set to recreate its magic once again on March 7. Get ready to relive the timeless emotions on the big screen!
