A new film under the banner of Sonudi Film Factory, starring Ashish Gandhi and Manasa Radhakrishnan, commenced with a grand opening ceremony on Sunday. The event, held at the Swayambhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, was attended by prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.
Renowned music director RP Patnaik sounded the clap for the first shot, which was filmed on the temple deity's portraits. Directors Veerashankar and Naveen Yerneni, along with veteran actor Tanikella Bharani, presented the film's script to the director duo, Kitty Kiran and Lakshmi Chaitanya. Producer Prasanna Kumar T and cinematographer Vamsi switched on the camera, marking the official start of the production.
Following the opening ceremony, producer R U Reddy addressed the media, stating, "We are excited to launch this film under our banner with new directors and a compelling story. The first shooting schedule will commence on March 6th in Ooty, followed by a second schedule in Hyderabad. We are planning to release several films each year under the Sonudi banner."
He further added, "Society has given us so much, and we want to give back by producing meaningful and impactful films. We appreciate the dedication of our actors and technicians."
Heroine Manasa expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "This film is very special to me. The directors are very talented."
Directors Kitty Kiran and Lakshmi Chaitanya thanked the producer for the opportunity, saying, "We are grateful to producer R U Reddy for giving us this platform to showcase our talent. We are committed to making a great film."
The event was also attended by Bigg Boss fame Subhashree, Sandhya Janak, and cinematographer Joshi, among others.
