The highly anticipated Kannada film "Rakshasa," starring dynamic prince Prajwal Devaraj, is set to unleash its terror in Telugu states as well, with a grand release planned for February 26th, coinciding with Shivaratri.

MVR Krishna, who previously introduced Karunada Chakravarthy Shivaraj Kumar's "Vedha" to Telugu audiences, has acquired the Telugu rights for "Rakshasa." Kanchi Kamakshi Kolkata Kali Creations is ensuring a wide release across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The recently released Telugu trailer has amplified excitement for the film. Prajwal Devaraj's intense performance as a father fighting to protect his daughter, coupled with Nobin Paul's chilling background score, promises a thrilling cinematic experience. The trailer builds upon the intrigue generated by the first look of this time-loop horror film, directed by Lohit H.

Producer MVR Krishna expressed confidence in the film's potential, stating, "This film will be a thrilling ride for the audience. The response to the first look and trailer has been fantastic. I believe 'Rakshasa' will resonate with Telugu audiences who appreciate strong content."
