Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj starrer "Rakshasa" to release on February 26th
MVR Krishna has acquired the Telugu distribution rights for the Kannada film Rakshasa, starring Dynamic Prince Prajwal Devaraj. The film, a time-loop horror thriller, is set to release in both Kannada and Telugu on February 26th, coinciding with the festival of Shivaratri.
MVR Krishna, who previously released the Shiva Rajkumar-starrer Veda in Telugu, was impressed by the trailer of Rakshasa and decided to acquire the Telugu rights. The film will be released under the banner of Kanchi Kamakshi Kolkata Kaali Creations in both the Telugu states.
A first-look poster featuring Prajwal Devaraj in a striking new avatar was released during Sankranti. The poster generated significant buzz and heightened anticipation for the film.
Producer MVR Krishna is confident in the film's success
"This film will offer a thrilling experience to the audience," said producer MVR Krishna. "The first-look poster released during Sankranti received a great response. We will soon be releasing the teaser and trailer. The Telugu audience has always appreciated good content, and I am confident that this film will also be well-received."
Rakshasa is directed by Lohit H and features a talented cast, including Arun Rathod, Sridhar, Gautham, Somashekar, and Vihan Krishna. The film's music is composed by Nobin Paul, and the cinematography is handled by Jaibin P Jacob.
