Every era in Telugu film industry has had its own share of lover boys. Uday Kiran and Tarun were the heartthrobs in early 2000s and later came Siddharth and others. Now it is the turn of one more hero Santosh Shobhan, the son of late director Shobhan.
Santosh first appeared in Mohana Krishna Indraganti’s Golconda High School in 2011. His debut as a lead was Thanu Nenu, alongside Avika Gor and after a gap, he was seen in Paper Boy followed by a TV series The Grill. His role as a young adult who suffers from small penis syndrome in Ek Mini Katha won critical acclaim.
He worked in Maruthi-directed film Manchi Rojulochaie, Nandini Reddy's Anni Manchi Sakunamule and now his next film Kalyanam Kamaneeyam is releasing on Sankranti. Overall, his style and diction are improving with each film and despite being dusky, he is slowly emerging as a heartthrob for girls whilst even showing good performance on screen as a lead actor.
