"UI" Success Meet: Upendra Thanks Telugu Audience, Calls them the Real Stars
Superstar Upendra's latest film, "UI The Movie," has been a resounding success in Telugu. Produced by Lahari Films and Venus Entertainers on a high budget, the film was released grandly in Telugu by Geetha Film Distributors. Hitting the screens on December 20th, "UI" has captivated audiences and is enjoying a successful run.
The film has witnessed a remarkable trend of increasing collections day by day in both Telugu and Kannada. With over 400,000 tickets booked on BookMyShow, "UI" has emerged as one of the best-opening Kannada films of the year. The Telugu version has also seen impressive bookings. As part of the film's success tour, the makers held a press meet in Vijayawada.
Speaking at the event, superstar Upendra expressed his gratitude to the Telugu audience. "I rarely direct films," he shared. "You have continued to appreciate and remember my films 'A' and 'Upendra,' which I made twenty years ago. It's incredibly fulfilling to see the same love for 'UI.'
