Produced by Ram Talluri under the SRT Entertainments banner, the film's first gear, trailers, and songs have generated huge excitement. "Mechanic Rocky" is set to release on November 22nd. Shraddha Srinath recently shared some interesting details about the film in a press meet.

What elements in this story impressed you?

  • I was born in an army family. We shift states every two years. Naturally, I like to experience different things. My character in "Mechanic Rocky" is different. I played a different character that I haven't done before. This is a very exciting project for me. I took it on as a challenge. I really enjoyed playing the character of Maya. Also, I was very excited to act with Vishwak Sen.

What will your role be like?

  • My character's contribution to the story is very crucial. It will be very interesting to see what role Maya plays in Mechanic Rocky's life. There will be a lot of surprises and twists for the audience. There will be many whistle-worthy moments. Director Raviteja has shot it wonderfully.

Do you have combination scenes with Meenakshi?

  • We don't have many combination scenes, but we met many times on the sets. She is also from an army family. We have a lot of similarities.

We heard that you rejected a story narrated by Vishwak Sen in the past?

  • It was a remake. Actually, I don't like doing remake films that much. That's why I couldn't do that film. Finally, I was very excited to work with Vishwak Sen in "Mechanic Rocky."
  • It's difficult to match Vishwak Sen's on-screen energy. He is very funny off-screen. I really enjoyed working with him.

About working with SRT Entertainments?

  • They made this film on a very grand scale. Technically, the film will be top-notch. Jakes Bejoy gave amazing music.

How do you feel about your nine-year film journey?

  • I don't have godfathers in the industry. I'm moving forward by taking every film as a learning experience. There have been highs and lows in this journey. I saw peaks after "Jersey." Like everyone else, I was also scared when films stopped during the pandemic. My film journey is moving forward just like life. I've learned to take hits and flops the same way. I like to do quality work. That's why I'm a bit selective.

How do you choose your stories?

  • When a story comes, it's not in our hands whether it will be a hit or not. I see how strong it is on paper. I also look at the importance of my character. I like to do the kind of films that I like to watch as an audience.

How do you take reviews and criticism?

  • I don't take film criticism that seriously. Anyone can have an opinion about a film. I also have an opinion as an audience. However, personal attacks feel a bit hurtful.

What is your favorite genre?

  • I like to watch horror. I would love to act in science fiction stories like "Kalki." I also want to be a part of a period film like "Baahubali." I also want to do comedy films. I hope to get more different roles after "Mechanic Rocky."

Your upcoming projects?

  • "Daaku Maharaja" is coming for Sankranti. I'm doing a web series in Tamil. I'm doing a film with Vishnu Vishal.
