The highly anticipated multi-starrer "Zebra" features the talented Satya Dev and Kannada star Daali Dhananjaya. Directed by Eashvar Karthic, the film is produced by SN Reddy, S Padmaja, Bala Sundaram, and Dinesh Sundaram under the banners of Padmaja Films Private Ltd and Old Town Pictures. Kannada star Daali Dhananjaya recently shared some exciting details about the film.
What is your character like in "Zebra"?
- "Zebra" has two worlds: the bank and the gangster. I play a powerful and intense gangster role. The whole film revolves around financial crimes that happen around a bank. We often hear about financial crimes, but as common people, we don't know much about banking transactions in depth. This film is set against the backdrop of the banking system and financial crimes within it. Director Eashvar wrote this story based on true incidents. The film has turned out amazing.
How did you feel when director Eashvar narrated this story?
- I was very surprised. We keep hearing about financial crimes, but we don't know how they happen. When the director narrated this story, it felt like I was seeing it unfold before my eyes. He came with a bound script.
- Eashvar has made "Zebra" a mass entertainer with all the commercial elements. He has blended comedy, fun, and action very well. The screenplay of "Zebra" is very new.
How was it working with Satya Dev?
- Satya Dev is a very organic and versatile actor. He is a very good friend of mine. I really enjoyed working with Satya. I am confident that this film will give us a good success.
- Every character in this film is crucial. All the characters have importance in the story.

- SN Reddy, Bala, and Dinesh are producers who are very passionate about cinema. They provided everything the film needed and produced it on a grand scale.
About Ravi Basrur's music?
- Ravi Basrur gave extraordinary music. Everyone knows how amazing the music he gave for KGF and Salaar was. But in "Zebra," you will see a new Ravi Basrur. The music is very different. The background music is awesome.
Telugu audiences call you Jaali Reddy. How do you feel about that?
- The character of Jaali Reddy in the movie "Pushpa" is memorable in my career. It made me very happy that the Telugu audience embraced me as their Jaali Reddy. I can't forget the love the audience gave to that character. I want to do more films in Telugu and entertain the audience.
