The song "Naatu Naatu" from the film "RRR" directed by S.S. Rajamouli won Best Original Song Motion Picture at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. The song was composed by M. M. Keeravani and written by Chandrabose, who dedicated the award to Rajamouli and the actors Ram Charan and NTR Jr.
He also thanked Rajamouli for constantly believing and supporting his work, as well as the actors N.T. Rama Rao and Ram Charan for their performances.
The movie RRR centers around two real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, the fictional friends who fight against the British Raj.
This is the pride of Telugu Cinema Song which won the first reputed international award. Many say that winning Golden Globe is a key to win Oscar. Hope the song wins Academy Award as well.
