Telugu actor Arvind Krishna bags Vegan Voice of India Award

Actor Arvind Krishna, who has acted in movies like 'SIT', 'Shukra' and 'Rama Rao On Duty', has been a practitioner of a vegan lifestyle for a few years now. He has now bagged the Vegan Voice of India Award for his discipline and advocacy of veganism.

"Being a Veganuary ambassador for over two years, Arvind recently participated in the Vegan India Conference held on 6-7 July in Mumbai. Arvind and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez were one of the panelists at the conclave," a source says.

“I receive the award with a sense of commitment and duty. Perhaps, this is the universe’s way of inspiring me to do more and further strengthen the vegan cause," the actor said.

Arvind, the nation's sole actor-basketball player, thrives on a vegan diet. His athletic and artistic careers benefit from his plant-based choices. "Veganism has been a game-changer," Arvind says, "boosting my muscle recovery, reducing inflammation, and giving me the stamina to excel on both the court and the big screen."

He awaits the theatrical release of 'A Masterpiece: Rise Of A Superhero' soon.
