End to controversy?: Anjali is happy with Balakrishna

After a video clip of Nandamuri Balakrishna pushing away Anjali on the stage at the pre-release event of 'Gangs of Godavari' went viral, the actress has come out in defence of the 'Akhanda' star. The purpose of her social media post was to say that she didn't find anything objectionable in Balayya's behaviour.

She wrote on X that she wanted to thank the actor for gracing the event with his presence. "I would like to express that Balakrishna garu and I have always maintained a mutual respect for each other and that we share a great friendship for a long time. It was wonderful to share the stage with him again," she added.

This came hours after producer S Naga Vamsi and actor Vishwak Sen said that there was nothing wrong in the 'Bhagavanth Kesari' actor pushing away Anjali in a "casual" manner.

Balakrishna's video clip has achieved a high level of virality. So much so, even a section of the national media has talked about it. Hansal Mehta, the Bollywood veteran, even called him a scumbag, only to invite the watch of Balayya's fans.
