'Waltair Veerayya' actor Bobby Simha, Yogi Babu in 'Non Violence'

'Non Violence' is the title of an upcoming movie being made originally in Tamil. To be dubbed into Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, it stars 'Metro' Shirsh, 'Waltair Veerayya' actor Bobby Simha and comedian Yogi Babu in leading roles. Directed by Ananda Krishnan, the film boasts of a novel storyline, the makers today said. Bobby Simha was catapulted to fame by Karthik Subbaraj's 'Jigarthanda' about ten years ago.

The story is set in Madurai. "This is a period drama that takes place in the 1990s. The screenplay essentially revolves around the events occurring within a Madurai prison in trying circumstances," producer Lekha of AK PICTURES said.

It has been challenging to make the period film authentically. Right from the props and the costumes to the locations, everything has been meticulously assembled to achieve authenticity. Aditi Balan, Garuda Ram, and Aditya Kathir will be seen in prominent parts.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is currently composing music for 'Gangs Of Godavari', is setting the songs to tune. NS Udayakumar is the cinematographer, while Srikanth NB is the editor.
