'Vaayu Putra' is the title of an upcoming thriller starring Venkat Duggireddy in the lead role. An NRI who hails from Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, he has lived in the US for the past three decades. He played the role of a lawyer in Sudigaali Sudheer's 'Gaalodu' and was later seen in the thriller film, 'Mystery'.
'Vaayu Putra', a title with divine connotations, is bankrolled by Rangamma Productions. It has been directed by Ramu Ajay. Rajendra Prasad, Srujan Kedala, Durga Gora, Venkat and others associated with the project have put out its first look.
We see loads of currency around the male lead in the FL poster. While he looks relaxed, the mood conveyed by the poster through guns and cigarettes suggests that we can expect sleek action from the upcoming release. The movie could have neo-noir themes, too.
'Vaayu Putra' is just one of the six films in which Venkat is acting. Shot in the US, the film is technically superior.
