Horror is just one aspect of 'Love Me: If You Dare': Ashish Reddy

Ahead of the release of 'Love Me: If You Dare' on May 25 in theatres, actor Ashish Reddy says that the film goes beyond the usual tropes associated with the horror story genre. There is more to its story, which offers substantial twists at the interval and towards the end of the film. Director Arun Bhimavarapu comes with a novel-writing experience.

Starring Vaishnavi Chaitanya as the heroine, the film's trailer is suspenseful. "The audience have arrived at some conclusions after watching the trailer. They think that Vaishnavi's female protagonist is on a vengeful mission or something. Other assumptions have also been made and all of them are spurious. The story of 'Love Me' is something else," Ashish says.

Ashish debuted in 2022 with 'Rowdy Boys', which had him in the role of a musical college-goer. In 'Love Me', he is a YouTuber who goes on a mission to interact with a ghost. Ashish hints that the character is adventurous while being subtle and less talkative.

The young actor is also proud of the fact that two legends (music director MM Keeravani and cinematographer PC Sreeram) have worked on the Dil Raju Productions fare. He reveals that PC, known for films like 'Gitanjali' and 'Kushi', likes his eyes and opted for close-up shots to explore them.

'Love Me' has opted for a Saturday release. Producers Harshith Reddy, Hanshitha Reddy, and Naga Mallidi are looking forward to offering the audience a solid theatrical experience.
